Aoni Awarded the Hong Kong Safety Mark
On Friday June 17th, Aoni was officially awarded the Hong Kong Safety Mark for its ultra thin condom series in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong Safety Mark is enacted by the Hong Kong Certification Centre (formerly known as the Hong Kong Security Certification Center), which was established in 1998. The Hong Kong Safety Mark is a national scheme to aid quality control in a huge range of products – from electrical and medical appliances to toys, stationary and health and beauty products. The Safety Mark stands for the assurance of absolute reliability and trustworthiness. The well-known Hong Kong brands awarded the Hong Kong Safety Mark are Lee Kum Kee, Airland and Vindapaper.
While the Hong Kong Safety Mark is not required for products to be sold within the country, it stands to assure that its marked products are top-quality. For a company to achieve the Safety Mark award, their products have to go through rigorous tests and applications before being merited the rights to win this prestigious award. “Of all the product schemes, the condom section is one of the tougher products to win the award as it has a higher number of procedures as it has one of the most number of safety requirements ” says William Lam, Metro Radio Emcee.
Aoni, as a company that has always put quality as top priority, has set their internal quality results to be 2-3 times above standard ISO standards, which are the worldwide requirements for medical devices.
“At Aoni, we’ve always prioritized the quality of our products,” says Victor Chan, Managing Director. “We want our customers to be completely reassured that every product is made with precision and care to ensure the best performance. No one will need to worry about the quality of their condoms during their most intimate moments.”
Having already met and exceeded various worldwide and national safety requirements, Aoni is happy to announce that it will continue to research and develop their condoms to provide the best product possible for all of their consumers.
