Aoni Sponsors Hong Kong Creative PR Competition 2017
Hong Kong, January 25, 2017 — Aoni had the pleasure to meet with and sponsor a group of students participating in the Hong Kong Creative PR Competition (HKCPRC) on Jan 14, 2017.
Earlier this month, Business Development Manager Ms. Genie Lam met with over 25 students from various Universities in Hong Kong to help them prepare for their upcoming case competition in March. The case centers around creating a marketing plan that will encourage more young people to use condoms as well as provide education regarding the stigma and embarrassment behind condom use. The goal is to advocate for safe sex while also trying to steer public opinion towards condoms as something positive and not taboo or embarrassing. One of the main goals of HKCPRC is to provide students with real world experience; hence students were only given a limited budget to use towards executing their plan. Aoni and HKCPRC are committed to help students apply their marketing knowledge to a realistic business environment.
This worthwhile case competition not only provides a great learning opportunity but also awards students for their hard work. HKCPRC winners will receive $13,000 HKD while the first runner up will receive $8,000 HKD, and the second runner up will be awarded $5,000 HKD.
Hosted at the City University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Genie provided valuable business insights and talked about the Aoni brand and mission to a group of enthusiastic students. The competition aims to provide a platform for students to enhance their public relations skills by implementing their knowledge and creativity in a realistic business environment.
